How do I create a new publication ?

We'll start by creating a new "publication" from the Twixl Publisher menu. Once you select a publication name and optional issue number, the plug-in will create a "book" in InDesign.
An InDesign book file is a collection of documents that can share styles, swatches, master pages, and other items.

The InDesign "book" will consist of a number of "articles" (i.e. standalone InDesign documents) that we'll create for horizontal and/or vertical orientations. When creating a new publication, you can select whether you want only one or both orientations. Note that this selection is for the whole app, i.e. if you select both orientations, Twixl Publisher will always expect that there is a portrait and landscape equivalent for every article in the app. When you select "Allow Scrubber", the scrubber (navigation articles) will be available by single-tapping the screen.

If you want to change the properties for your publication afterwards, select "Publication Properties" from the Twixl Publisher menu.
